    Definitely not where you are!
As we all know searching/traversing through all the Maryland firearm laws and regulations can be daunting, and confusing at best. Especially when the MD Office of the Secretary of State, chops up each chapter and section of COMAR on their website into subsequent webpages (yuck). There's a search function, but I much rather have a soft copy of all relative annotated code and regulations concerning firearms. Therefore, I generated PDF outputs of the entire chapter of the weapons regulations. MSP has graciously :sarcasm: provided the "proposed COMAR" on their website, for proposed regulations changed after Oct 1st. However, nothing in PDF format of the permanent code. Also those are just two chapters provided by MSP, and nothing else. Below are the proposed regulations chapters from MSP (not sure if they're up-to-date), and the PDF's that I generated form the Maryland State Department website concerning the rest of the COMAR Weapons Regulations, which are up-to-date.

Annotated Code of Maryland - Criminal Law Article:
MD Article - Criminal Law 4-301 (Assault Weapon Definitions).pdf Assault Pistol list, Copycat Weapon definition.
MD Article - Criminal Law 4-305 (Magazine Restrictions).pdf Ten round Magazine limit for sale and transfer, .22 caliber rifle with tubular magazine exclusion.
MD Article - Criminal Law 4-403 (Machine Gun Registration).pdf Uniform Machine Gun Act subtitle, Registration section.

Annotated Code of Maryland - Public Safety Article:
MD Article - Public Safety 5-101 (Regulated Firearms Definitions).pdf Assault Long Gun list, many pertinent definitions, including the main Handgun definition as a Regulated Firearm.
MD Article - Public Safety 5-401,-6 (Handgun Roster).pdf (complete subtitle)

Annotated Code of Maryland - Natural Resources Article:
MD Article - Natural Resources 10-410 (Hunting Restrictions).pdf General state-wide hunting restrictions, including “safety zone” and "150 yards" rule §10–410(g)(1) - Page 4.

MSP Proposed COMAR regualtions (9-11-13) on their website, not sure if these are 100% up-to-date.
MD COMAR 29.03.01 Weapons Regulations, Regulated Firearms (9-11-13).pdf
MD COMAR 29.03.02 Weapons Regulations, Handgun Permit Unit (9-11-13).pdf

Generated from MD State Department website (up-to-date), including .9999 Administrative History at the end of the PDF:
MD COMAR Regulations for Department of State Police, Title 29:

    Thank YOU !

And, personally, my "interest" in this kind of thing stems from my experience which is it is always at some strange hour and in a hurry when I "need" this kind of thing!

I'd figure I post them here. If you guys like\want this sort of thing in a readable format, then I'll post the rest of the regulations (COMAR). I also have organized subsets of annotated code (statues) of varies Public Safety, Criminal, Natural Resources Articles that apply to firearm law and ownership.

Let me know if you guys are interested in such a thing.
    ...

Yes, it would be enormously helpful.

Would be nice if MD state went to the effort to do this.

Cool, good to see some positive feedback. It has always pissed me off searching for these things. I also have updated digital copies of MD 77R forms and other regulatory documents in an organized fashion. I'll start updating this thread periodically if it gains interest.

Oooooooo approval Mr. H! I'm not worthy

    Damn... what's the phrase....

    Oh, yeah.. Bite me.

    :D

I just love it when folks do stuff like this for the community at large. If we all contribute something, then everyone's "more than none" really builds into something huge.

    Crowdsourcing at its finest.

That was actually pseudo genuine praise, but I'll take "bite me" as a strange and awkward compliment.

I'll finish up the Weapons Regulations (clean up MSP copies) and post them shortly. Then I'll move on to statues and other regulations.

Just for good measure I'm going to post digital copies of the updated 77R forms.
