    Anyone ever used these guys?

After failing to teach myself to goose hunt last year (I tried about five times with no success on public lands), my girlfriend bought me a goose hunting outing with an outfitter of my choice for my birthday. After talking to them on the phone I think I'm going to go with them. Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

I've heard the name, but no experience with them....although their prices are reasonable, the guide i used to go with raised his prices this year and now i'm debating how to go goose hunting this year

BTW, you have one hell of a girlfriend :)

I have a few times- Higgins runs a good outfit. I've hunted with them from a pit (really good) and from a blind (also pretty good... It was the last day of season, and took all day to get our limit- but we did get our limit. Also, you only shoot one direction, unlike the pit where you see 'em coming from all directions.) If you're going early season (November), the quality of your guide really won't make a difference (you'll probably get your limit by 9:00am). Make sure you go when it's a new moon- During a full moon, the geese can eat at night, and are a little more skittish in the morning (not as hungry).

    You'll meet at the Denny's. MMMMM... Denny's...

If you need a fourth, let me know. I'll go with you.

I'm trying this outfit for snow goose, this year (Higgins doesn't do snow geese.)
