It really looks like a lot of letters were sitting in the mail room waiting to go out.

Maybe they didn't pay their postal meter bill. :)

    Excellent.

Same! Decided to check my email since you posted. Sent mine week of 4/8. No previous regulated purchase when SENT, but a week later I did make a purchase and am waiting for the ND.

    Here is some info:
I just talked to Trooper Thompson.
I have had a Federal C&R liscence (Curio and Relic) that I got in March.
I have only C&R and Non regulated firearms to date. No regulated firearms.
I then sent in the Designated Collector app w/ a copy of my C&R in middle of March.
Since I have no regulated firearms on record, my app is sent to review and they have not gotten to it at this point. They have a tremendous backlog just like the other group does.

So getting a DC w/o already having at least one ND will take you 3+ months.

I've never had ND yet and just got an email back saying I was approved. Sent mine week of 4/8. I have my first regulated purchase app in the system now, but still waiting for the ND (expecting that sometime in July) so I doubt theyve done any kind of check on me yet.

I have been reading up on it from what I can tell having it removes the limit of buying a regulated firearm every 30 days. I can't really see any other limits or requirements.

Because there looks like a lot to gain and no side effects I decided to look over the form. The form looks pretty straight forward except for one of the questions? The question is "Describe nature of collecting activities"?

    What is generally put there?

    Thanks
    Robert

The left will not be satisfied until any firearm is a regulated. just saying

I was told that there is no "secondary review" for DC. This is such BS:mad54:

When I talked to here last week, she had no record of mine. It was mailed 4/15. I emailed her a copy yesterday and got a response that my letter was being prepared, approved.

    I guess mine ain't coming.

It is not feasible for me to check if I have received an application. Please allow 6 weeks for processing and then IF you have not heard anything feel free to check on your status.
It seems that I have not come across your application, yet.
I am current up to April 25th (received on my desk date) with processing.
    Thank you

MAILED IT ON FREAKIN' APRIL 13TH!!!:wtf:

Well, for me it's been 7 weeks.

Now I get this pathetic form letter back where they say they're current up to 2 weeks AFTER I mailed mine?

Thanks for nothing lady. I knew this shit would happen. God damn cops can't do anything right.

Thr sooner I can move the better.
