Notice that trigger flinch at the end? Lol!
Looks like a decent rifle. I already have an old Marlin in 44 mag. that I really like. May or may not pick up one in 357 mag to go with my old model Rugers in 357. One of these in 41 mag would get my attention!

I have wanted a “JM” .357 for years…just never had the spare cash. Would still prefer a circa-1980 JM…but, I have read good reviews on the new Ruger/Marlin rifles…has anyone here actually handled one? Would love a review on quality, finish, etc.

I’ve handled 2 of them at a local gun shop. The fit and finish is excellent. I think Ruger is doing an excellent job. Not sure I’ll pick one up for myself anytime soon, as I’m pretty well covered with my lever actions.

I am quite tempted, but still want to hold out for a threaded 357.
Still, an encouraging sign that ruger has the production lines now turning out 357 lever guns.
