I guess you get a lobotomy once accepted to places like Columbia univ. :sad20:

Former Sgt. Matthew Hess served in the Marine Corps from 2009-2015 and is now a freshman at Columbia University in New York City.

The Marine Corps Times tweeted, “Veterans should lead the push for more secure gun laws.”

A strange position to try to push when the OKP administration is targeting veterans in particular, using metal health issues, when trying to take away 2A rights.

I bet these yahoos would also advocate lockin' veterans that have seen combat away from society so they can't fight back when the gun confiscation squads go out.

Like Dick Jones said to Robocop, "we certainly can't have our products turning against us."

The "word" is probably being passed down from the top - could we call it the DC connection? No surprise!

The comments are a riot if you have some time. They are blowing up.

"How about you go sit on a railspike while suck-starting a sidearm?"

I doubt the rank and file will give it too much notice, judging from my time in and around the service.

For military related news i HIGHLY suggest checking out www.sofrep.com

It is a veteran owned news site and most if not all of the reporters are former special ops guys. To see all their articles you have to be a member but it is worth the $89 yearly fee. Also, they are pro 2nd amendment and have a podcast which is pretty bad ass as well.

The comments are pretty good. Not a lot of fellow veterans follow his views... The writer is now freshman at Colombia so explains a lot right there. His liberal class mates must be high fiving him.
