just a reminder on Saturday idpa and steel matches at peacemaker. per their website, their falling steel/super steel match should be a blast:

"This is a very high round count falling and static steel match with 5 stages and a minimum of 40-50 shots per stage. BRING A MINIMUM OF 250 Rounds!

Either handgun or shotgun may be used. There is no shooting organization affiliated with this match and scoring is time plus penalties. Each stage will have a par time. "

I normally run a morning idpa squad there, so if you're a newbie and on the fence, get off it, come on out and we'll get you started safely and you'll have fun.

The par times at falling steel were stupid last time I went. Too much $$ for 1 run per stage with ridiculously short par times.

i agree and i gave them that feedback. given the match description, and going to time plus, i'm expecting a way funner match than the last one. i did their first one and it was super fun and i'm expecting/hopeful this saturday's match will return to that wow factor.

They need to make it like the PSA Shootout and use a par time that is realistic instead of basing just on how many targets get knocked down.

'twas a lot of fun and way funner than last one. 60 second par times on each of the 5 stages. some folks definitely cleaned the stages before the 60 seconds but some definitely didn't.
