If you saw the live stream last week, we had a ton of fun asking the Ds if they would get behind banning Assault Politicians. Everyone knows that with the Ds if it's not mandatory it's banned.

Mebbe this week we will shame them into admitting they voted for SB1.

Just like every Monday night during the session, tomorrow night, on the bricks in front of Liar's Mall. 7p -8p.

So, you say, the cops aren’t political and don’t interfere in politics?

For the last 6 years the MCP and Frosh lied to the Federal district and appellate courts: they told all the Federal judges that Patriot Picket demonstrating in a single line at the back of the sidewalk endangered Annapolis pedestrians and passing drivers.

So where do the cops park their cruisers now?

Along that same curb, in the fire lane, of course.

They are intentionally blocking access to the same sidewalk for legislators and other pedestrians jaywalking across the street diagonally (as they always do now) from the House Office Building corner to the single remaining walkway through Liar’s Mall.

This literally also diverts those same pedestrians to walk directly into the single remaining vehicle travel lane for all vehicles going east on College Avenue and turning north on Bladen Directly in front of this sidewalk.

    Public safety? GFY.

There’s a gap between the two parked cop cars but in practice the pedestrians almost always walk straight from the far corner (orange barricades) in the background past the corner of the parked cop car to reach the sidewalk curb break in the foreground.

Let’s block the public’s view of the sidewalk too, to save (political) lives!

(H/T MigraineMan for these pics from the scene.)

The cops are always sent to that public sidewalk to watch US, not to watch for any actual danger to the public.

We have never been that danger.

As I told Scott Broom in a WUSA TV9 News interview six years ago at that exact spot (BTW Rack&Roll and I were arrested exactly 6 years ago tonight), if the cops were so worried about the safety of pedestrians and passing drivers as MCP/DGS claimed falsely in their contrived press release, then why didn’t they just respond to the intersection that night to actively direct the traffic to suit their “safety” concerns?

They could supply a half dozen cops and patrol cars to arrest us, but not a single one was available to direct traffic that night?

As for the Cap Police being apolitical, I hasten to point out that they take pics of ALL the PP demonstrators, every time.

But it's not for intimidation purposes, because none of us seem to give a damn. No, it's for the Permanent Record.

So wear your best clothes, and don't forget the makeup. You're on Kandid Kop Kamera!

(The Dems are the party of the KKK, as most here know. Sadly, the police forgot their robes).

Capitol Police SUVs were in-place when I arrived at about 6:40pm. Was pretty obvious that they were intentionally blocking the view of the sidewalk. (Say "hello" to the nice Capitol Police hall-monitors reading this thread! Yes, we know you're here.) Didn't matter. We adapted, they didn't.

Had a bunch of discussions about the "2A Tax" signs. Definitely need to keep the signage current and on-point. For anyone making his or her own sign (please do - it's easy,) you've got four or five words to get your message across. Keep it short and sharp. It's like those annoying "train" word problems from middle-school math class - "a southbound legis-critter moving at 3 mph is exposed to a Patriot holding a sign for 2.5 seconds ..."

The biggest danger to the public tonight was Governor Wes Moore's SUV. Came barreling out of the mansion driveway and damned near plowed through pedestrians. Absolutely did not give a rat's ass about the little people who were in the way ... just elbowed its way through. Rather caught the CP patrol officers off guard.

Mel Brooks was right ... it's good to be the King.
