    Politically Incorrect
I was put about 50 rounds of prvi partizan through my Nagant today. After about 25 rounds the bottom of the magazine box would start dropping out, spilling the ammo everywhere.

This happened when I fired the rifle, which I thought was due to recoil. But then it happened when I slid the bolt forward to chamber another round as well. I think that the mag latch on the bottom of the trigger guard might be worn, does that sound correct?

Very possible, its a leaf spring sort of thing made of a fairly thin steel, I've never heard of one causing an issue, but it is fairly flimsy. Go to the 7.62x54 website and download a parts guide, you should be able to find one on gunbroker from there

    This.

Take it apart, you CAN twist that spring up and cause the issue you're referring to...
