M&P .22LR AR, 10,000 rounds, No Cleaning

It is impressive that it still works. My firearms never make past a single range outing without cleaning though.

Hmm. I would think with 10,000 rounds of 22, the gun would be dirtier than that. I put 1,500 rounds through my SWR Spectre and it was so dirty that the baffles were literally filled in crud.

That's just sad. My m&p was giving me a weird mag feeding issues today. I wonder if there is round count before the factory mags start to give u issues

I brought mine to the range baby-butt clean, fired maybe 100 rounds through it an it has since been cleaned again, SS Sparrow as well. OCD and all...

I can't imagine 10K of .22.

I'm like krucam. I clean them puppies after every use at the range ... and sometimes in between when I'm looking for some quiet time by myself in the garage.

There is a FAL in Texas that has over 16,000 rounds through it with no cleaning. The fact a .22 can do it with the dirty ammo is impressive.

Irresponsible? I gotta say 10,000 rounds is impressive, and 10,000 in a rimfire without a hitch is almost unheard of. (AFAIK) Personally I clean often but wow 10,000 is crazy! Sounds like I need to get one of those.
