There's been quite a few left behind firearms at MG.

Some make their way back to their original owners, other's not so much.

Left a ammo can there once with x39 ammo in it. Never have seen it again.

I dropped him a quick note to thank him for being a stand up guy.

He's trying a couple different routes to locate the owner.

I let him know about the boards here and the posting.

I would think whoever left the gun would be checking here as soon as they realized their mistake, or as soon as they figure out a face-saving excuse to use.:sign07:

I found a Sig P226 on a plinking range at my local gun club. Got it back to its forgetful owner.

It's not uncommon, especially if somebody brings a bunch of guns to the range.

    Interesting....

While I commend the person who is trying to do the right thing, I believe the person who left the rifle to lose their right to retrieve it. Yes, everyone makes mistakes that’s why pencils have erasers but c’mon misplace your firearm on the range, thank GOD the person in question wasn’t a Marine.

Best to stay calm. We're talking about two or maybe three times per year across the entire state. Go to a busy outdoor range with guns filling the racks and it's not tough to see how it could happen. But if you want to find guns left behind a frequent basis, Baltimore City is the place to be. ;)

I'm always afraid of leaving a gun behind at Myrtle Grove. I bring too much of my collection at times for my own good. Good on this guy. :)

If anyone plans to go to Myrtle Grove today . this weekend maybe print out the ad and post it down at the grove and help the fellas out. I don't plan on going there until Sunday morning, so, maybe someone will be there sooner.
