looking for someone who knows how to do home automation

Im buying a new house, settle in april. I want to install a home automation system. i want to be able to control everything from my i pad smart phone and or the wall mounted screen. I want to control lights, heating and ac, door locks, cameras, motion detectors. and if there is something else cool to control may want to do that too. let me know if anyone can help me out. I like learning about this stuff so i want to be very involved in it.

Sure, if your smart phone / ipad is not password protected and stolen and someone gets your account info...etc. Security on all levels is paramount.
