One of the main reasons I got the stock was because of design and the built in monopod

    Looks great.

You should also look at White Oak uppers. They have an incredible reputation. Also think about a 20" v 24" barrel. Not a lot of advantage with that extra 4".

    Good luck

^^This guy. Go White Oak Armament on the upper. Just finished my "DMR style" AR. I built the upper instead of buying an assembled one, but I did put a WOA 18'' 1:7 barrel on it and it shoots sub MOA.

Even an 18" barrel will nicely fit your requirements. 24" is borderline overkill IMO, but that's me.

My father shoots his whiteoak in fclass at 600 with no problems...20" barrel 1:7twist.

Most of the service rifle shooter shoot either white oak or kreiger barrels....there is a reason why those 2 are the major brands at camp perry every year.

The reason I want a 24" is because I want to be able to get the most out of the heavier rounds
When I want to primarlyrics shot 69 grains and higher :D

Good looking lower. Very different stock setup. Can't say I have seen that one.

I chose the stock because of price and the adjustable cheek and the monopod. It had everything i wanted for the best price.

One of the other reasons for the 24 in is because when I start reloading I don't want to have to push the limits of the case. I will be able to load light and get the same result

The trigger is better then anything I have felt on any gun to date. Even the G2S breaks like glass!:D

I had the chance to feel a couple of geisseles, amazing triggers. Im going with the SDE on my current AR but ill be doing a 20inch long range rifle hopefully soon with a WOA barrel and definitely one of their triggers.

Personally I don't think the added weight of the 4" justifies the additional velocities. If you are mag fed, 75gr SST's and 77gr SMKs are the heaviest you can run. Start at 23.5gr or varget and work up...I think I settled in at 24.2gr of varget if you are hand loading, mag length is 2.160" ( if I remember right).

    Good luck with the build.
