Hi Folks I have some hand arthritus and just got a Polish P64 from Aim Surplus. Nice piece but the magazines have a spring that is so stiff, loading is a problem. Any ideas of what I can do to make it easier to load these magazines? I woulod appreciate it.

As far as loading them goes I don't have any fantastic suggestions. However, when you do get them fully loaded, try letting them sit that way for a couple of weeks. Then take them out an put some rounds through them. The spring pressure for a couple of weeks along with the expansion/contraction of loading-firing-loading-firing should hopefully loosen the magazine spring so it won't be as stiff in the future. This has worked for me in the past.

I suppose you could do this manually without actually firing anything, but where's the fun in that? :-)

    Good Luck!
