My buddy mailed some spikes to me. Thought I'd throw a a quick sawzalll blade creation together for light duty. It isn't pretty or robust, but I like it. I did not do anything to the blade, other than shaping (heating, cooling etc...). I cut about an inch of a tang to epoxy into the horn, and trimmed a piece of aluminum for the blade to butt up against. Just epoxy to keep it all tight...I have another horn, so if I try again, I won't use marker to draw lines in it ...

So both sides of the blade are sharp?

Wife buys excess when they are on sale... normally buy and consume within a day or two, but if she finds a bargin... look out. I think there are currently 4 turkeys in the freezer.
It looks like my link didn’t show up properly. I posted a link to tent STAKES. I think you’re looking for “Steaks”, just a little teasing.

This dagger from the Sudan during the Mahdi era has been my letter opener for years. Note the sheath, made from Nile crocodile hide.
