konus scopes

anybody have one? like it or no? saw a 4-16 today and i liked it alot. wonder how durable they are

I have one, on the low power i like it but with the power up the eye relief isnt that great. The glass is pretty damn bright. If i could do it again i would.

I have the m30 . I've ran it through recreational shooting, some f-class shooting at Qauntico a while ago and two rifle classes. my only gripe is the 1/8th adjustments instead of 1/4. Any tactical type shooting: competitions or classes eqaul a LOT of dialing and after one full rotation you have to be mindful of your clicks or it can and will screw up your whole day.

As for durability I haven't babied it and the only thing to go wrong were the cheap scope caps.

Right now I'm looking to upgrade not because the Konus is bad but because i want something Mil/Mil and without the 1/8 clicks.

Full disclosure, the company I work for does have a relationship with them. But regardless, I think they're great scopes. Here's their website. FYI I believe that three or so of the M30's now come with 1/10 mil adjustments. The warranty program is worth a look too. Lifetime replacement on anything that breaks even on the most basic scopes.

WOW, I just took a look, you're right. When did the Mil/Mil come out? I know for a fact they didn't have it when I got mine.

Hmm decisions...go with another Konus with Mil mil/ lit reticle and higher power or go for the Viper HS.
