K98 Mauser 22LR conversion

Saw one at the Oaks gun show a few years ago. That was the first time I had seen one too. He was selling the rifle and the kit together and it was a pretty penny from what I remember.

That's about what a complete conversion kit goes for these days. Getting harder to find in this condition and complete, usually find 'em with something missing. These have always been popular and command a nice dollar.

I've seen a .45 ACP conversion that uses 1911 mags but it wasn't drop-in. I think you had to permanently modify the rifle.
