The strings will be clear and focused, then I'll do the soft push and it always goes blurry, and focus's on another object. I'll try to get it to focus on the string, but it won't... I may try the white paper to get it to focus on the strings then move the paper out of the way? Is the macro setting the close ups?

there should be a cross hair, reticle. Put the object you want focused there in the sights.

Macro is for up close, yes.

Get way up close. Have all the zoom off.... The lens all the way in.
