I'm working on the right handguard. I think the wilson 13.8 is what I'm going with. It will come about a half inch within the end of the tirant.

I have a Hogue on mine pictured above in post #967 anyone ever have an issue with not being able to swing the safety selector? This was my first experience with Hogue grips my other AR has ERGO 2 on it and the overmolding is trimmed away in the area the safety swings through.

Yes, I need to skive a little material from this grip (a Hogue) as it just drags a tad and you can't just 'flick' the safety selector to fire from safe. It wants to drag a bit.. I have two, did it to the other one also.. a razor blade, cut that little notched area out a little (I let the selector run over the grip enough to see the area that needs trimming) and then I slice a thin piece off and it will work fine...

I like the grip, or I would have used a different one, but it's easy to fix. ;)

That was the fix I was thinking of making to mine also didnt know if I just had a reject or if they all come that way. Your pistol looks nice by the way I am going with the AFG on my build as well I like them and have one on my rifle as well.

I have a different grip on about all of my builds, but the Hogue I like... I think the overmolding process builds up the width of the grip to where a selector may just drag on it. Some of my others have this cut away in the mold to allow for that possibility, apparently Hogue don't think they need to.. lol

    and Thanks!

I impulse bought a Umbrella Corp HUUCR lower yesterday at 5am before I went to work. Saw the in stock notification, clicked it, saw that it was actually still in stock, clicked buy. Got one of their minimal lower parts kits too(only thing in stock), now I am hoping for a good black Friday sale on a safety, trigger and KAK buffer/sig brace combo.

That is often an issue unless you get all the 'colored' items from the same mfr, like magpul, etc... out of luck on the SB's.. Probably why I keep most of my builds black, or cerakote the items myself all at once.
