Would be much faster just to do a proper mag change. It only takes about 1.5 sec for a semi-proficient shooter, less than 1sec for those who really practice. The stuck-together mag would be slower, awkward, and just plain stupid.

    The right way:
    1) Hit mag release with strong hand while going for spare mag with weak hand.
    2) Index gun in front of face with strong hand, eyes on magwell, finger off trigger, index mag with weak hand index finger straight down along front of mag.
    3) Pull mag from pouch, rotate up and toward magwell.
    4) Meet tip of weak hand index finger with magwell, and insert mag with force.
    5) Marry weak hand back up with grip and push out.

    Mall Ninja:
    1) Grab lower mag with weak hand, push mag release with strong.
    2) Fumble around with mag like an idiot.
    3) Get shot in the face.

    Right way corrected :)

Step #2 eyes looking through the pistol on the threat, not magwell.

Step #4 allows step #2 to happen ;)

You don't need to see it if you are feeling it. Don't take your eyes off the threat please :)

It's not creative because it serves no practical purpose.
He wasn't having fun. He totally believes that he invented something "tactical".

in his mind it may serve a practical purpose and if he can run it, more power to him. personally, it does sound silly, but i don't care what he does with his personal firearms, and neither should you.

hell, its not like he was trying to pass himself off as a SEAL or running a tac-course - dude was goofing off at the range, leave him alone.

If that wasn't looped I would be seriously impressed with how he engineered that spring and EVEN MORE IMPRESSED with him loading all those rounds. I bet the last 6 would be impossible (if it were real)

The spring was my first thought when I saw that
