    U.S. Training Center

    EAG (Pat Rogers) 2 day "basic" carbine course in Culpeper VA. June 25-26 2011.

    Since there are spots open I'll throw this out to "EXPERIENCED " Shooters that have attended Recognized training facilities. If anyone is interested call Paul at Grey Group right away....Don't wait because he has to get you on the list to allow you access on site at U.S. Training Center.

    Kyle Defoor 2-Day Advanced Carbine - June 4-5, 2011 - Moyock, NC

    The 2-Day Advanced Carbine course is recommended for those that have attended shooting courses before or who have a thorough understanding of carbine basics and already have safe gun handling skills.

    Topics covered will include;

    •Accessories,weapon setup, slings, gear, sights, optics, ballistics, cleaning/lube
    • safety
    • fundamentals
    • accuracy
    • positions
    • speed
    • barricades
    • shooting on the move
    • reloads
    • malfunctions
    • multiple targets
    • running with a carbine
    • shooting under stress, shooting tests
    • night shoot
    • projection, awareness, land marking, mindset

    Some drills require physical exertion and an elevated heart rate. Military and LE members are welcomed, encouraged to wear their gear and weapons as they would for their application. Days are typically 9-10 hours in length with a short lunch break. Certificates are given upon successful completion of shooting tests.

    What apparently happened is a big group of .mil guys had other duty come up suddenly, causing them to back out. Kyle wanted to honor his commitments, even with a reduced crew.

    This was an awesome weekend of training........

    I'll call you and give you an AAR Chad....... I'm changing a few things with my gear but nothing major. And I see a Troy handguard or VTAC going on my Middy.

    Defoor is the man! His Advanced Handgun will be on my yearly must dos.

    BTW, there is plenty to do in Moyock, you just got to know where to look! That said, there isn't a waffle house anywhere near the place! Mmmmm, powdered eggs for breakfast, again...
