    does anyone know or has anyone ever bought a brand new stripped pistol frame? i want a to get a custom built 2011 down the road and figured i would get a new sti frame now but im just wanted to see if i would have any problem since its not complete their for the fired shell that is required for a new handgun transfer.

    If the frame or gun is used no shell casing needed. If you build 1 from a 80% lower it isn't required either.

    yea i started to think about it i image when filling out paperwork it will be put as other vs a model and caliper their for not needing one. i double check with my ffl tomorrow
