No matter the difference or simularities between what everyyone states during their testimony, perhaps the most salient point and that which is remembered, is the last statement you will make. That last statement should be crafted to leave a lasting impression, an impression that digs in and gnaws.

It could range from anything between "I do not support any additional firearms legislation", blah, blah, to something like, We are all in this together "At times, the price of progress comes high. The only unknown is the exact cost? Thank you very much for your time and your consideration.

It really needs to be tatseful and non threatening to be effective though. Above all, it needs to be honest and real, it needs to exact an emotional, human, toll from the gut.

Leaving them with your statment and then perhaps questions to ponder long term, is usually always more effective than leaving them with a statement alone.

Looking back, I have closed many transactions asking, leading and/or leaving a open ended question for contemplation.

    Opinions?

Very good idea. If we can present ourselves in a professional and courteous manner it will only benefit us!
