Hell, my wife and I are 19 years apart.

No problem, as long as the older one isn't 29.

When I was graduating HS, my wife was just getting ready for 3rd grade...and I though I was robbing the cradle. You guys are good.

If you dated here when you were in HS you WERE robbing the cradle. LITERALLY.

My wife and I are only 3 months 10 days different in age.

But for those of you with long term marraiges, or especially second marraiges, what was your criteria for picking your spouse?

I see so many people picking their spouse because they are "hot" or "super model looks" or "great in bed." All things that tend to not last.

Funny story, and better told in person... but we met purely by accident, and my sons met her long before I had.

Once we actually met, it was just "right", and mutually beneficial.

I can't explain it beyond that.
