How many is too many when purchasing C&R guns at once?

The most firearms of one type were 5 Garands from Lou at a Timonium show many years ago. They were nothing special, no 1 one of a kind, no safe queens, just good shooting Garands that I still love shooting today!

It is not uncommon for people to buy a few then sell what you don't "like" to enhance your collection.
This can happen with Mosins where you buy a few, then sell the "less collectable" ones to enhance what you already have to buy something more collectable.
selling to "enhance your collection" is worded into the license.
Selling to flip and profit is not. definitely gray.

It's not a gray area, it's clearly spelled out. A C&R license does not allow you to partake in the sale of firearms for profit. Now, with that being said, it's up to the licensee to police themselves. It's something I personally wouldn't want to get caught doing. I really like sleeping beside my wife. I'm not the least bit interested in sleeping next to Bubba for the next 5 years.
