So right before I was leaving the house this morning, an AACOPD Officer was at my front door and wanted to know if I heard/saw anything suspicious last night. Apparently the house next to me was burglarized (which is about 50 feet from my bedroom window), and the victim was a retired LEO. The suspect(s) got away with some electronics, but more importantly, a few firearms. This makes me quite uneasy, especially since this happened so close to where I sleep.

Apparently the firearms were fairly "well-hidden", which leads them to think the people were in there all night (apparently drinking sodas as well....Fingerprints hopefully?), or MY take, someone who knew him broke in.

Guess you cant trust anyone these days...:sad20:
