For those who haven't read the other post about funding John Lott's trip to ANP, this is a little more straight forward.
MSI needs anything that you can contribute to fight this year's onerous bills in ANP. If you haven't been involved, get involved. Anyone who has a CC license needs to fight to keep it as it has been a long time coming.

It looks like the good professor is taken care of, but I just joined MSI and kicked in a hundred bucks to the legal fund. We need to stick together and fight this tyranny brought on by the Kremlin on the Severn.

Agreed. Been a member for years and just added to the litigation fund. This legislative season and possible challenges will be one of the most important since the farce of FSA 2013.

With all the classes going on now, maybe the instructor should charge an extra 25 for each student. take that money and enroll the student in 1 year msi membership. Put in the class notes that a year membership is included with the class.

Now that is a great idea. Now, how to we suggest it to all the trainers out there?

Tell you what I will be doing my taxes next weekend so the smaller amount of money we get back since they re-adjusted tax brackets, with holding and main deductions. I'll send that money their way.

i am sure lot of the instructors are on here.
maybe MSI could reach out to the training companies and bring the idea to them. it will be little more work for them but be worth it in long run. another thing i would love to see is MSI make a flyer for every gun shop in md to put at their gun counter. maybe for every firearm sold the ffl could take $25 and offer a”free” one year membership but the customer had to sign up while doing paperwork to buy the gun. if gun shop can not afford to pay the 25$ on the gun sale, maybe they could ask the customer for a suggested donation of 2% of the their total purchases. yes this will be a pain for the gun shop but this would benefit them in long run.
