Hogue is pissing me off

Anyone know of another company that makes checkered aluminum grips for the Sig P229? I ordered a set from Hogue 2 months ago, they weren't labeled as being backordered then (in fact, they still aren't) but my order sat as "processing". 60 days ago I asked them what was going on and customer service told me they were backordered by 30 days. A few days ago (day 57) I sent another message asking for jsut an estimate of how much longer they would be backordered for. Still haven't heard back. I love hogue products, but their customer service is far from wowing me. I guess they're too busy making overmold toilet seats now to answer their customer service line.

Where did you order them form? Direct takes a while, meanwhile Topgun Supply if in stock ships them fast.

I had the same problem. They never answered any emails or any questions, but one day the grips just showed up in the mail.

I have a set on order from 2A at less than MSRP but they too are on backorder.

I just fondled a 229 with the Hogues at the LGS. Worth every penny if you ask me. My next purchase will be a 226 with those grips.
