HB 1005

Does anybody know what the status of HB 1005 is? The way I read it, it basically deals with requiring MSP to issue a carry permit to retired military members if they apply irregardless of the reason. This bill was supposed to go to hearing on March 4th but I can't find anything on it after that. I've searched with my limited internet abilities and come up with nothing.

Reason being, it creates another caste in Maryland's society.

I'm not saying that I'm for or against this, I just wanted to know the status? MD VA sends me a monthly listing of all bills that pertain to retirees and vets. This one popped up and I was curious.
