One thing MDShooters has influenced me towards is hardwood grips on classic pistols. I used to only own Glocks and stainless/Pachmyer Rugers until vets and old timers here showed me the beauty of something different over time. Now I am starting to see the light.

The only handgun I have with wood grips is my MD Shooters 1911.

I really like the look of this one posted by Atlantic Guns. If I lived or worked anywhere near there I probably would have stopped in and bought it by now.

Buckmark Target has stock wood contoured and refinished, Belgian made Hi-Power has refinished and contoured aftermarket wood.
