Hakims Swedish brother came home with me today..

Well, never thought I'd buy one but it happened. A Good friend of mine said someone offered it for sale. I had him check it out and gave him the money to buy it if it was nice enough. I/ he spent my Max on it and 300 rounds of ammo. But honestly, it was a very good deal for the total package. Here ya go. Now I own something in 6.5 swede ...god help me.lol

Yes sir its a very nice example. The pics don't do it justice as I took them with the cell phone. I had a chance to pick up one a few years ago for about 550.00 that was not as nice as this. I paid more for this but it came with 300 rounds and some other acc. Before I gave my buddy the max price I seen a single ljungman on gunbroker and the guy was trying to get 1100 starting bid. While I don't think they are worth that yet. They are very hard to come across in this cond.

If you can spare about 650 total watch the guy on gunbroker who refurbs them. He gets them, strips and has all parts hot blued. Those are sme nice nice rifles!

I've prob shot it before out of another friends mauser, but honestly I don't remember. But I love shooting 8 mm beasts like the Hakim so I'm sure I'll love the ljungman.

I do have a few FN49's in the stable but no Rasheed. Another that I have looked at but never purchased.

They are Argentine Navy rifles and have a detachable 20 round mag. While a little scarce you should be able to locate one on GunBroker but expect to pay a premium.

I got lucky at a gun show 2 years ago and picked one up for $500 from another collector that was hurting for money. It came with 5 mags each loaded with Remington ammo.
