Im interested but how does this work... bring your own ammo? lunch? half classroom half range?

Yes, your ammo. Lunch… sometimes when Blaster helps me we meet up after training for tacos. No classroom. All instruction takes place on the range. No need to worry about your particular skill level. Everything is done at your speed. No rush, no egos, just learning and improving.

I checked but didn't see it mentioned above or on the site; how much ammo would we be expected to bring? How about extra magazines?

Bring what you have. If you don't have it, don't worry.
But I'll say the least expensive holster would be a Fobus paddle holster and 2 mag mag holder.
You should at least have those items at minimum. Including your hearing protection and eyes .

300 rounds is a safe bet. Bring more if you have it.
Dress for and bring weather related clothing. Bring a cooler and snacks if you want. It's only 4 hours, so there's not really any 30 minute break.
    Water.
Again, bring what will make you comfortable to be outside for 4 hours.

Tough to do holster draw drills without a holster. Spare mags you can put in your pocket.

On the homepage of the website, under “Programs” “Guided Range Workshop”

“This course is designed to provide you with the opportunity to brush up on shooting fundamentals and marksmanship, and then practice necessary defensive firearms skills such as drawing from concealment, reloads and malfunctions, shooting from cover, shooting and moving, etc. all under professional instruction. Shooters should bring approximately 200 - 300 rounds.
Cost: $175.00 / per student, plus $25 range fee.”

I also send an email prior to the class, usually by Wednesday evening, with more specific information and the address.

One more thing. Ticks seem to be bad everywhere this year. The range in the woods I'm sure is no different.

Get your deet or whatever repellent you use. Ball cap, long sleeves, pants.
    You know the drill.

Comon people! There should be a sell out every month on these. No one in the state has this experience and training going on.
Absolutely zero reason to go to some indoor range and shoot static this month when you can do this.

It is such good training! It’s a shame that we can’t fill this up. I should be back in June. I’ll be out of town for this one.
