Currently, one of the most recommended optics for those with astigmatisms that want something like a red dot, that won't break the bank, is The Primary Arms SLX 1X MicroPrism...and Primary Arms just released an improved version. The GLX 1X Prism.
This new version is supposed to have better glass, the eye relief is 'almost non-existent', and it uses buttons instead of knobs. [if I'm writing in bold--I'm not sure why--I've tried to turn the bold off--apologies in advance]. I know the SLX has a 3x magnifer that can be purchased separately (there's also a 3x version all together). I wonder if the new version will have a magnifier eventually also.
