Inigoes, great to meet you there today! Thanks for all the good advice and letting us shoot some of your toys. Great time was had by all.

Let me know when you want to do this again!

Old Salty Dog, was a pleasure to share the range with you.

Is there another date you guys (SOMD located folk chime in please) want to pick for a get together up there? I have to stay away from the weekend before the 8th of each month.

Guthook suggested themes to keep things interesting in the Group thread.

Suggestions off the top of my head:
    • Militaria
    • Pistol Calibers (Hog leg and/or Carbine)
    • Hi-Power Calibers
    • Deer Rifles
    • Cowboy
    • Shotgun
    • Foreign
    • TEOTWAWKI firearms (might scare the locals with this one):D

Wilcam, please note, I was joking.

But must have been some kind of important to not scatch the trigger finger.

Down here at the end of the earth, could I go shooting in the back yard, yeah, but not worth it, if heavan forbid, if one gets away because of that one in a million ricochet. It's too darned flat down here. Shotguns are not an issue.

Hopefully, someday we can get a gang together and just have some good fun.

Actually, EBRs have a pretty good representation when I've been there, and no one really bats an eye anymore. There's been a couple times I've been there with an EBR at every bench.

+1, There has been days when every table had an EBR. It gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling all over. :D

EDIT: Duh, you just said that.

Going regardless, I'm bringing a couple of drums, and a couple of stick mags.

You know, when you get that itch in your finger, you have to scratch it:D

MDarms. I met NYU at the range, didn't see any other MDshooters. The Saiga and the GSG were a hoot. Lasers and hi cap mags on a nice cloudy day like today, = oh my, what fun:D

I'm going to second that - had a great time this morning!

Inigoes was gracious enough to allow my friend and I shoot his GSG/Saiga. He has me convinced to purchase a GSG 5 now. Hmm, breaking that to the wife is going to require some serious thought and strategic planning. :D
