Good FFL in Montgomery County?

I'm thinking about picking up a Larue OBR (AR-10 clone).

I'd like to have it sent to an FFL in Maryland... does anyone have an FFL that is reputable in MoCo? ...and who will also not attempt to charge me $100.00 to transfer the firearm to me?

We charge $62 dollars for a regulated firearm transfer for MDshooters members.

I contacted Frank yesterday, and he responded very quickly to my e-mail. I am yet to do business with him but I have heard that he is a pleasure to work with.

I know he took a hiatus. I have transfered several times through him. Great guy to deal with and never had any reservations about the transfer.

If you are willing to drive 15 mins north east of Burtonsville you could hit 2A Sales in Jessup (Rt. 1 (1/2 mile north of 32).... Great guy and offers discounts to MDS members. Also an Industry partner.

Mark at 2A is a great guy to work with. Ive done 2 transfers through them recently and it was $40 with the MD Shooters discount on regulated firearms.

+1 for Mark @ 2A in Jessup if you can make the drive to AA Co.

Good guys at Engage also if you don't mind the extra cost.

It may have changed since I inquired last, but I wouldn't recommend Atlantic for a transfer as their rate is $100 for regulated.

I have used his service twice and been pleased w/ him. I am actually doing another transfer on a Sig556 Classic- can't beat $35 for a transfer.
