Ruger just came out with a 22LR version of their GP100 revolver. This has caused me to do something that I said I wouldn't do - apply for my HQL. However, even with the HQL, the handgun still has to be on the roster in order for me to buy it. Since the GP100 is already on the list in 357 mag, this is just a caliber change. How do I make sure this gets done? Is this something I should try to submit to the review board, do I go through a local gun dealer that I will buy it through? Any suggestions? I am aware that this will take awhile but I was hoping to have the revolver by next summer.

The SP101 has been around for a while. The GP100 was just announced about 3 weeks ago.

I just looked it up on Ruger's Web site. That just made my short list. Next roster meeting is January 27th. If you get the forms to Ms Jenkins of MSP by Jan 11, it will make the next update.

That was pretty much my reaction too. Now I just need to figure out how to get it on the roster.
