I "removed" the take down screw. No clue why it's even there. I just put it in the baggie and used a normal pin and spring. I just bottomed out the bolt catch. I didn't torque it very hard since the allen key is so tiny. Pretty sure I don't have any long bits that would even fit my torque wrench!

Went rifle, think I'll move to a smaller sight at some point...just what I had lying around.

Here's mine so far. Still need to get my bolt assembly and waiting on my stamp to put a stock on it.

That's awesome! Got me rethinking my planning. I bought a Glock lower and have many thoughts swirling around my head. Should it be a pistol, in the hopes that Engage's lawsuit wins the day and < 29" SBR becomes a possibility? Should I just go ahead and SBR it at a 10" barrel or thereabouts? Or do I build a rifle with the compact-size solid buttstock kit I have on hand? Decisions, decisions...

What I really want to do is have a QC10 side-charging upper if that ever moves out of unobtanium status, so this may stay as a stripped lower for the time being...

Other manufacturers are Gibbz, New Frontier Armory, X Products, Spartan, WMA, and ASA are some more side AR15 side charging options. Not sure if they would work with 9mm.
