Been looking at getting into pcp rifles
this one has great reviews and very accurate
anyone have one to give feed back on?
any recommendations on a similar pcp rifle in same price range and accuracy?
also can you leave a pcp rifle charged for extended periods without damaging it.
new to pcp rifles so prefer to make a educated choice.thanks

So bought the Gamo urban
Tack driver it is.
shooting dime sized groups at 30 yards.
comes with 10 round magazine,bolt fed repeater.

Also bought a toauto compressor to charge it.
compressor takes about 1 minute to refill up to 3,300 psi.
getting around40 shots before refills Useing Crosman 14.3 pellets that it seems to like.

for entry level pcp rifle have no complaints.

anyone looking to get into pcp repeating rifles, I feel a good choice

about 500.00 total investment to get into pcp repeater rifles with great accuracy and very quiet shooting.
much quieter compared to break barrel rifle.

As long as you want. In fact if stored it's better for the o-rings to keep it charged.

It is pretty much standard practice to leave PCP guns charged up. It keeps moisture from entering and causing corrosion as well as keeps seals in place.

The only time mine get below 1500 PSI is if I have to work on them.

OP, make sure you have a good water separator on your compressor or you will be pumping water into your rifle. Since most PCP guns have metal valves and tanks, water will cause corrosion and you don't want that in a 3000 - 4000 PSI air tank.

Been researching pcp rifle for about a year before pulling trigger on this combo. Also had advantage of shooting a friends urban to see if it was an entry rifle I could live with.

realize now I should have pulled trigger sooner. No need to spend 700 to 1,500 on a pcp rifle When options like this exsist.

Willtill from my research they can be ”stored” with some amount of psi. most recommend not storing at full charge due to seals distorting.
Been storing mine at 1/2 charge around 1,000 psi. full charge is 3,300-3,500 psi.

Considering compressor I listed takes less then 1 minute to charge to max fill. Not a big deal to charge before useing. They say 100 pumps if using hand pump. ( screw that)
I shot few groups today at 25 yards zeroing scope.
every group under 1”. Most dime sized.

Crazy accuracy from pellet gun. Can’t wait to shoot at longer distance.
it seems to like crossman premier 14.3 grain hollow points. Same as my break barrel does.

as for compressor mentioned above. It came with replacement debris filters along with spare desiccant filter also spare burst disc if you let it over pressurize.
you need to manually turn off compressor so not to over fill,no auto shut down.
compressor will do 4,500 psi, rifle needs 3,200-3,500 psi

my total cost with compressor just under 500.00.
About twice cost of my break barrel with scope.

cons so far, spare mags cost too much from Gamo At 59 bucks. pyramid air has the for 29 bucks.

bolt a bit stiff it supposedly it will loosen up.
trigger a bit mushy but adjustable . Will shoot more before I try adjusting it. both the first and second stage are adjustable.
Rifles air gauge is only visible when viewed from barrel end of rifle. Make sure rifle empty and safety on when filling.

pros bunny fart quiet. Accuracy is excellent. Shoots better than my abilities. Can only imagine groups if I was shooting off bench opposed to tri pod rest.

best part no more pumping break barrel. Just cycle bolt and fire from 10 round magazine. My old shoulders like that.
