Fun Day at the range

Took the grandsons to the range today to shoot their Christmas presents.



The S&W Mod. 64 I got for my oldest grandson and the Mossberg 464 below was for the other grandson.



The wheelgun is a police turn-in from Lou at Shooters Discount and the Levergun is new from Keep Shooting. Both IP's were very easy to deal with and both weapons performed flawlessly. The boys shot up every round of .38 and 30-30 I had on hand. It was a really fun day killing pumpkins and paper! Both boys can't wait to do it again.

Green Ridge State Park. Apparently they make it not so loud for the 'neighbors' But pretty much you have to fire a rifle through them. Makes it kinda loud while sitting behind them.

I always give guns to the grandsons for Christmas. They are a gift that is never wrong and always appreciated. Last year it was shotguns all around.
