    Did you get 55 grain?

    Yes, M193. Trying to sight in a new rifle/scope combo. 8" x 10" steel plate at 300 yds I was missing probably 8 shots out of 10 and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Thought my mount might be moving so I pulled it and remounted the scope. Same thing. Then switched to Federal M855 and rang the bell repeatedly with no issue.

    I find that in rifles with a 1:7 twist, 55 grain bullets lose accuracy past 100 yards, especially with a longer barrel, so it may not just be Freedom Munitions.
