I posted this in the Black Powder section, then I thought . . .

An 18th century Market Fair at Fort Frederick April 25-28, 2013. Admission for the public is $5. Tons of 18th century accoutrements if you reenact, and tons of high quality muzzleloaders and stuff. Its all about the F&I War and they do some reenacting out of the Fort. Lots of mountain man regalia and percussion guns, too. Many sutlers and private blanket sellers. Great day trip.

Reminder for those going for the first time.
Fort Frederick is nowhere near the town of Frederick.
Its near Big Pool on exit 18 off of I-70 about 40 miles west of Frederick.

Always a hoot, especially if you are a F&I War buff and like traditional muzzleloaders and stuff. Nothing modern, nothing later than the 1840s. All period encampment. Great for kids, too.
