    I'm late to the party but I got bounced from checking a case with 60 pistols, rifles and shotguns in Fla. a couple of years ago, and ended up driving them to my destination weeks later. Probably a good thing.
    I feel that the weight of such a case would be the primary issue here. Even if it were 60 polymer pistols, that'd still be over 60lbs of gear. The math isn't mathin here.

    I used a wheeled, hard golf bag case. No one lifted it but me, and it never got on a scale. I think they waved me off over the thought of its contents, and that maybe I was a lunatic. :shrug: :rofl:
