Nice find! I have several early Gerbers in my collection. The early ones can bring good money. Careful of the rust on the carbon steel blade, I use car wax to protect mine.

I'll never forget my MK-II... stolen when I was working on my car when I went into the house to answer the phone!

Get up and go to those yard sales and flea markets!
If you know what you're looking for you can find some great things.
Recently I found a couple valuable handmade swords, an old Baltimore whiskey jug, and a rare antique Natty Boh beer can from the 1940's all for $10 each.
I could put them on ebay and make hundreds of dollars.

I have one damn near new, perfect condition, sheath and all. SN D8156S. Most I have ever cut with it was some rope.

Not as nostalgic as 1967 tho :)
