The Auction company is OK, it's the idiots buying the stuff that are stupid. They get in a frenzy and bid way more than the item is worth annd go home happy. Last time there was an M1 Garand that was worn out and the barrel was complletely shot out. It solld for much more than a much better grade available from the CMP. Anyway, it was interesting to watch the people.:sad20:

I have been watching the add since I first read about the auction. It sure does not look like there is much good stuff from the add. They better have allot more stuff than the add shows, because they are calling it a firearms auction.

I almost went. Does that count?
I was not able to come up with enough money to make it worthwhile. Would have had to buy several guns to make it worth the trip.

.....but I am interested to see if there was any good stuff that was not in the auction add.

My Uncle went and got some crazy deals....

Italian calvary carcano in 7.3 for $60...and one more I'll post with pictures on Sunday.

He saw several o3 and o3a3's go for under $500....good prices overall.

Didn't get pictures but his major score was an 1884 springfield trapdoor, 95%+ condition on the metal, awesome bore with a hairline crack in the stock......

    $300.......
