    Tell me about Federal 9mm 124gn Syntech, any good for range duty? Any build up in the barrel? Thank you

    Great soft shooting round that is also accurate. Definitely less barrel cleaning and below average powder residue. It was my staple pre-covid.

    I went through a couple boxes and it worked fine, save for one failure to fully camber a round, but I think that my daughter may have been holding a little loose. As for gunk, not sure we short enough to notice any difference.

    I used it in a class and have a few left.

    If you reload, it is equivalent to powder coated lead rounds in my opinion.

    Reliable and clean, not sure it is worth the extra cost.
