You will love it! I haven't bought or reloaded any .45LC or .454 after the first few boxes I purchased, the .460 rounds are just too much fun. I have let family and friends work their way up to the .460 though; its nice to have the option.

I was debating on this versus 500 but like you, I really like the option of three calibers.

Ya they are nice that way and 454 is a really solid caliber. Its a shame I am not going to be able to get a handgun that wheels that kind of firepower before 10/1.

I have a Rossi 92 in .454 and they are a fantastic load to work with, I will get another (grease and store) one of those!

I love my 460. It's a crowd pleaser at every range I have been too! I have had people walk up to me and hand me money just to shoot it once.

I rechambered an H&R .45 Colt Classic Carbine so it would accept the .460 S&W round.

200 grain Hornady FTX sitting on top of 43 grains of 2400 powder.

It's a blast. Literally. Great balls of fire.

You'll love yours. Have fun.

wow you must have great and thoughtful kids!!!

my one BIL has this gun and it is a lot of fun to shoot. the comp and the weight keep recoil relatively manageable. he also has a desert eagle .50 which frankly i hate, but the 460 is awesome.
