I don't have a picture but my favorite one has to be the 7 1/2" 45 Colt/45 auto convertible Blackhawk that my wife got me for our first Christmas after we got married in 1984. I haven't shot it since Saturday!
No pics available till later but a Ruger Old Vaquero 7-1/2" in 45LC/ACP Convertible.
The ACP cylinder came from the basement of all places, Valley Gun. Ruger used to sell the spare ACP cylinders through their old authorized repair gunsmith system. To show Ruger's old school quality, the ACP cylinder dropped dropped in with no fitting or timing issues. Only cost me $45 plus tax, go figure. Mel and Sandy weren't around to check on Jeff that day.
This is my distributor special flat top in .45 Colt with an extra .45 ACP cylinder. I also have a regular Blackhawk in .357 Mag, as well as a Bisley in .45 Colt. Just nothing quite like a single action revolver.
Funny thing is I used to love Colt SAAs. Then about five years ago I bought my first Ruger Blackhawk and was instantly hooked. The Colts are a distant memory for me now. Nothing against the Colts. Rugers SAs just float my boat a whole lot better.
