Would a factory built sbr (SLR-106UR) be the same $250 tax stamp as one built by an individual or would it only be a $5 tax stamp being factory built as an sbr?

$200 stamp, not $250. The $5 is for a transfer of an NFA item classified as "Any Other Weapon."

The tax stamp is $200 for both form 1's & 4's.

And since its a factory SBR there would be no engraving required. So that would save $40-$60 (cost of engravig) on top of the $200 tax stamp.

The $5 stamps are only for AOW's as noted above.

I purchased a lower from Engage Armament to build as a SBR. Since they are the manufacturer I was able to file a form 4 through them and save the cost of engraving. The tax stamp is $200 and Engage had a small fee for filing the paperwork and putting the gun together.
