Spent the day over my in-laws yesterday for my father-in-law's birthday. While there, the wife and I completed our lowers. And yes, she did all her own work. It made my FIL happy to see his daughter completing her own pink lower.

They turned out pretty good, but I had an issue with the trigger pin hole on my first one. On one side, the bit slipped off the guide and I ended up with a "vent hole" near the trigger pin. It's far enough away that it shouldn't cause any problem, but I'll need to plug it up to keep dirt out. Does anyone have a suggestion what to use to plug it?

My uncle put his together and the selector seems very tight compared to my other ars. It's almost too hard to turn with one thumb. Did anyone else have this problem?

Oil it up first then insert your 3/8 bit thru and thru then spin counter clockwise with your hand while holding the drill bit... mine does that too...

Mine was really tight so I clipped a coil and a half of the of the selector detent spring and now it's perfect.
