Glad to hear you are restoring the Enfield. I just finished restoring one myself. Can't wait to get it to the range. My stock looked like someone worked it over with a hammer so I sanded it and steamed out the dents and gave it a couple of coats of blo. Fun project.

$100 for one of the greatest battle rifles ever created by the hands of man is a no-brainer!

The only unfortunate thing is I had to order from 3 sites... it would have been a little easier on the wallet if it could have been one shipping charge, lol. Frankly I felt bad that I was purchasing for my collection but neglecting to restore a firearm I already have to at least close to the original condition.

Received most of my parts today, only to realize I will also have to get a buttstock b/c the buttplate area was cut off about half an inch inward... bah humbug...

Here is an update so far. I'm just waiting on the buttstock to arrive next week and have to get a front band sling swivel and the screw (<- this is what I'm having trouble finding unfortunately)

It's a $75-$100 deer gun. Need about $175+ in parts to make her a mix master dressed #4.

I'd buy it at $50-$75. But I have plenty of sported #4's.
