On my way out of Maryland
My source at DHS shared with me a warning message today regarding a possible imminent threat. The gist of the message is to prepare (food, water, gas, plan for family...).

    So, this plus:

    Gas prices rising fast
    Inflation (food)
    etc...

What is the worst that can happen in the next 2 years? Is it worth planning an exit plan yet? Or stay put while things continue to deteriorate. Will it be too late in 2-3 years? Is it too late to buy an AR or will I even need it?

I'm interested in hearing your short-mid term predictions.

    Your source should...

    1. Learn what FOUO means.
    2. Learn that these types of releases are so commonplace nobody pays any attention to them.

The time to buy a gun was Feb 24, 2020.

    You are late.

    lmao

I wish I had a quarter for every time over the last two years someone asked this dumbass question.

If you have to ask... its too late.

why are you still reading this and not shopping for a rifle?

edit: you should have bought the IWI Zion from United when you had the chance. it's a good rifle at that price. 50-50 it's still there when you go back.

Old news. My next door neighbors buddy’s cousin leaked that 2 weeks ago.

Or you should learn that FOUO no longer exists. ;)

    Tsk tsk.

You guys are so last decade.

No such thing as FOUO anymore, it's been replaced, starting in 2020 I believe.

Yeah but most are like me and still say FOUO instead of CUI.

It's also still used in a lot of non-federal LE which we cross share data with.

Interesting. I wonder if they'll change to match the federal agencies eventually.

Pretty sure our docs still say FOUO

    Old docs or new?

FOUO was DoD only (or mostly). They started phasing it out in 2020, but it's been an ongoing process. It's now supposed to be standardized across federal agencies as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

    https://www.nellis.af.mil/News/Article/2334981/dod-moves-from-fouo-to-cui/

The Administrative Assistant for security to the Secretary of the Air force issued Air Force Guidance Memorandum 2020-16-01 July 23 to implement the new CUI policy.

    https://www.dodcui.mil/

CUI policy provides a uniform marking system across the Federal Government that replaces a variety of agency-specific markings, such as FOUO, LES, SBU, etc.
